For greater economy, the PRISM line includes Gold Double Hung and Gold Picture windows.  PRISM Gold windows provide solid economic alternatives while delivering unbeatable performance.  Uniquely designed to enhance multiple exteriors, Gold windows feature a classic, angled design.  Possessing many of the same attributes as Platinum, Gold windows offer dependable strength and performance at a budget-conscious price.

MECHANICAL FRAME -- a weather beater.  Double Hung frame profiles are mechanically fastened with screws around a continuous bead of weather-resistant sealant on top of a durable, rubberized gasket.  As the frame is tightened together, the sealant is compressed to secure the perimeter of the frame.  

WELDED SASH -- unbeatable strength.  Sash profiles are fusion welded into a continuous design.

ANGLED EXTERIOR -- a smooth appearance.  The angled exterior is a classic design, and complements any style of home, including wood, vinyl, stucco and brick.

INTEGRAL SCREEN TRACKS --  hidden details.  Screen tracks are molded into the frame for a smooth exterior.

FIBERGLASS SCREEN MESH --  damage resistant.  Screens are made of durable fiberglass which is resistant to marring and puncture.

CAM LOCK --  sleek security.  The low-profile cam lock secures the window and provides a smooth interior finish.

OVERLAPPING AND INTERLOCKING MEETING RAIL --  a Simonton exclusive.  This patented design overlaps and interlocks to form a tight seal.

SLOPED SILL --  an added benefit.  Sloped sill design forces water away from your home.

PIVOT ALIGNMENT SYSTEM --  another unique Simonton design. Achieves perfect alignment of the sash to the main frame and ensures easy operation.

STAINLESS STEEL CONSTANT FORCE 3/4" COIL SPRING BALANCE SYSTEM --  dependable performance.  Allows for smooth operation of the sash.

TILT-IN/LIFT-OUT SASH --  easy cleaning.  Sash tilt-out and lift out, allowing the glass on both sides of the window to be cleaned from inside the home.

CONTOURED EXTRUDED LIFT RAILS --  streamlined appearance.  Lift rails are molded into the sash itself for easy grasping.

RAISED-FIN TILT LATCHES --  flush mounted with a raised fin for easy access, these latches release the sash to tilt in for easy cleaning.
